ADI BOUTROUS

About

Adi Boutrous was born in Beer Sheva in 1989.
He studied at the Matte Asher School of Performing Arts on Kibbutz Gaaton, then at the Maslool – Professional Dance Program in Tel Aviv-Yafo.
Adi made a name for himself as a dancer and choreographer in Israel, then from 2017, he toured his choreographic pieces internationally.
Rooted in the transmission of moral ideas, his works seek to reveal essence and intimate expression, a state he has loved to develop since his first creation, What Really Makes Me Mad, for which he received first prize at “Shades in Dance” 2013. Since then, SUBMISSION, ONE MORE THING and REFLECTIONS, his latest works, have been created and toured in France and abroad.

Discover La Minute du Spectateur of Lyon’s Maison de la Danse, which welcomed the show One more thing in March 2022.

Media & Awards

In 2022, Adi Boutrous received The Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sport Award for Creation for all his works.
First prize at the 2013 Shades of Dance festival for his first choreography "What Really Makes Me Mad".
