The Piece

Whereas in his previous show, SUBMISSION in 2018, he evoked the question of gender identity, with ONE MORE THING, Adi BOUTROUS invites us to become aware of two values: that of the group and that of the individual. In a ritual that crosses both the contemporary and the traditional, four men experience a rite of passage based on empathy, shared destiny and attentive listening. Through this experience, they re-examine the stereotypes assigned to masculinity, the relationship between masculinity and power, inherent potential support, intensity and the desire for synchronization.

Press

L’œil d’Olivier
Adi BOUTROUS creates an intelligent and terribly human show (...) A beautiful, disturbing, lucid and powerful object. An artist to follow, a work to discover.
Danses avec la plume
A virtuoso variation on the theme of masculinity.
Resmusica
It's beautiful, physical and sensual, and the commitment of the dancers is exceptional. They have the suppleness of circus and great musicality. Each dancer gives his all in solos, the last of which is performed by Adi BOUTROUS himself. Magnificent and touching.
Un fauteuil pour l’orchestre
A marvel of softness and appeasement. ONE MORE THING obviously bears the imprint of a singular, cosmopolitan culture, imbued with tensions, which Adi BOUTROUS takes in reverse to detach himself from it and give it a more sensitive side, delving beyond appearances and stereotypes, even clichés, to bring out a hitherto muted truth: the fragility and gentleness of men.
